Looking for a special way to celebrate or announce your big day, or are you looking for a meaningful gift to give to the happy couple? Join us in the Denby Craft Studio to paint your very own Denby wedding plate or mug, a beautiful, personal keepsake you’ll treasure forever.

Choose from our colourful range of decorating glazes and bring your own design to life, whether that’s names and dates, hearts and florals, or a playful illustration that reflects your story. No experience needed - just relax, get creative, and enjoy some quality time together.

Once you’ve finished painting, simply leave your piece with us to kiln fire, and your finished plate or mug will be ready to collect within three weeks and keep forever.

Who’s it for: This experience is suitable for everyone and fully accessible for wheelchair users and pushchairs.

Please ensure to book a space for all attendees - including any adults or children who are not participating. During some events these tickets may be limited. 

Time: Sessions are 50 minutes each on the hour between Tuesday-Sunday. Your Craft Studio Experience lasts 50 minutes and if you would like longer, please feel free to book for multiple sessions.

Price: Denby plates start from £12.95 small / Medium £15.95 / Large £18.95

Denby mugs start from £ 13.95

Notes: Where the experience includes your pots being fired, there may be occasions where pots crack or break in the kiln firing process, which is beyond our control. In the unfortunate event that this should happen, we will contact you and advise of the options available.

As you'll be getting creative with Denby glaze colours or acrylic paints, we recommend wearing items that you don't mind getting messy.

Experience refund and cancellations: Denby Pottery Village will make every effort to ensure that your Craft Studio Experience goes ahead on the confirmed date and time. However, should unforeseen conditions prevail, an alternative date or time will be offered or a full refund will be given. Unfortunately, this event is non-transferable and refunds cannot be given for cancellations. Bookings confirmed with full payment. Please refer to our full T&C’s here

Visitor parking is available for free in our customer car park within easy reach of the Welcome Desk located inside the Denby Craft Studio.

Our great selection of shops are open every day (except for Christmas Day and Easter Sunday) between 9am – 5pm (Monday – Saturday) and 10am – 4pm on Sundays for you enjoy during your visit.
