About Denby Pottery Village:
Whether you have a few hours or want to enjoy a full day out, visit the Denby Pottery Village for a wealth of activities for all ages to enjoy alongside our shops and food outlets.
Make the most of your visit by choosing from our wealth of Denby Experience Packages where you can learn about how Denby is made, get immersed in our fascinating history, see how we hand-craft our versatile, beautiful and durable ceramics and even get creative yourself. Opening Times
- Denby Pottery Village shops and eateries are open every day (except for Christmas Day and Easter Sunday). Opening dates and times are subject to change, please check our website when planning your visit.
Tickets and Refunds
· All tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, not for resale and cannot be exchanged once booked.
· All tickets remain the property of Denby Retail Ltd and void if defaced or altered.
· Tickets are only valid for the time and date printed on the ticket. If you arrive later than your booked time, we will do our best to accommodate you but this may not be possible and you may be turned away.
· Any exchange or refund of tickets is under exceptional circumstances and at the absolute discretion of management.
· Tickets may be purchased online in advance to avoid disappointment, although on the day bookings are welcome subject to availability.
· Denby Experience bookings cannot be transferred, bought, sold or in any way traded. They cannot be returned, reissued, nor exchanged for cash or for any alternative products. If any fraudulent activity is suspected, the Denby team have the right to refuse the transaction.
· We reserve the right to change or amend the experience at any time and without prior notice.
Terms can be changed at any time.
· We operate a booking system in conjunction with DigiTickets. Tickets can either be printed or simply bring your booking reference number with you to the Craft Studio Welcome Desk on the day of your visit.
· All queries for online bookings must be directed to tours.reception@Denby.co.uk and DigiTickets hold no authority to exchange tickets or offer refunds.
· If tickets are purchased on behalf of others, the purchaser accepts that these Terms and Conditions apply to each person in the group.
Denby Experiences
· All of our Denby experiences are fully accessible for pushchair and wheelchair users, with the exception of the Denby Pottery Tour. If you have any accessibility queries that you would like to discuss further, please email our team on tours.reception@Denby.co.uk.
· Craft Studio Experience: Your Craft Studio experience lasts for up to 50 minutes in the Denby Craft Studio. Please ensure that you have booked multiple session times should you require any longer than this. Your space is secured with the £2.50 per person admission cost at the booking stage. All craft Studio activities are to be chosen and paid for on the day. This amount will then be deducted from your activity total cost with any overpayments refunded. Where the experience includes your pots being fired, please note that on occasion, some pots may crack or break in the kiln firing process and this is beyond our control. In the unfortunate event that this should happen we will contact you and advise of the options available.
- Please refrain from eating inside the Denby Craft Studio
- Children must always be supervised by an adult(s)
- A minimum of 1 adult per 3 children is required
- Activities are recommended for 3 years+
- Denby Pottery Painting: The following Denby glaze colours, violet PT& and bluebell blue PT18 contain a degree of cobalt which is an allergen
- Denby Hand and Footprint Experience: Suitable for babies who are 3 months + age limit for having glazes on feet/hands. However anyone with sensitivities is advised to not touch the glazes, as cannot guarantee no reaction.
- Denby Craft Activities: some activities include use of feathers, balloons please make us aware if have allergies.
· Pottery Throwing Experience: Please note that this experience lasts for approximately 45 minutes, plus time to enjoy your complimentary drink at Bourne’s Coffee Shop & Bistro. Budding potters must be a minimum of 3ft 6 and under 16's need to be supervised by an adult. We have the right to refuse entry if Health and Safety advice is not adhered to. Please note that if you are booking for one person, there may be another participant present during your experience. On occasion, some pots may crack or break in the kiln firing process and this is beyond our control. In the unfortunate event that this should happen we will contact you and advise of the options available.
· Afternoon Tea: Please ensure that any special dietary requirements are confirmed at the booking stage. If you do need to discuss further or make us aware of any allergies, please email: tours.reception@Denby.co.uk. Please ensure that if you are upgrading to an Afternoon Tea, that it is booked for the same date as your experience. All experience bookings from 2pm will need to book Afternoon Tea for 12pm.
· The Denby Discovery and Denby Museum Experiences are fully guided. Please note that each experience lasts for approximately 40 minutes, plus time to enjoy your complimentary drink at Bourne’s Coffee Shop & Bistro. Seating is available in the Denby Discovery, however you will be on your feet throughout the Denby Museum Experience. Please advise if seating is required prior to your visit and this can be arranged.
· The Full Denby Experience: On average, lasts for up to 4 hours including time to browse our Pottery Village shops and to enjoy your complimentary drink at Bourne’s Coffee Shop & Bistro.
· All Experiences: If your admission ticket for any of our experiences is for 2pm or later, you will need to enjoy any complimentary drink or your upgraded Afternoon Tea before your experience due to Bourne’s Coffee Shop & Bistro opening times.
Parking
· Free parking is available on site.
· Vehicles are parked at the owners’ risk and Denby Retail Ltd accepts no liability for any loss or damage to individuals, vehicles, or personal property.
General
· Our shops, eateries and experience areas are all fully accessible for pushchair and wheelchair users. If you have any accessibility concerns that you would like to discuss in advance of your visit, please email tours.reception@denby.co.uk at least 48 hours in advance of your visit.
· Toilets, accessible toilets and baby changing facilities are located within the courtyard area, directly next to the Denby Craft Studio.
· Children aged 15 years or under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
· Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is strictly prohibited inside our shops, eateries and experience areas.
· We reserve the right to prevent entry to any of our Denby Pottery Village experiences and/or to remove anyone from the premises whose behaviour is inappropriate and/or undesirable and which may affect the safety and enjoyment of our staff or other guests, without the right to a refund.
· We, in our absolute discretion reserve the right to close the whole or any of our Denby experiences at any time. The reason for any closure or restriction may include capacity, adverse weather conditions, technical or operational reasons, Government Order, public health emergency, special events or to ensure the safety of our guests, or for any reason that Denby Retail Ltd reasonably considers the circumstances so require. For tickets purchased in advance, if any of our Denby experiences are closed for any of the reasons set out above, we may offer replacement tickets for admission on an alternative date or instead offer, at our discretion, a full refund. Denby Retail Ltd will not cover any costs for transport or accommodation if there is a need to close at any time for the reasons stated above. Please do keep an eye on our website and our social media pages for any relevant updates.
· For health and safety reasons we recommend that sensible clothing and footwear is worn at all times and that any safety instructions are adhered to within the experience booking terms.
· We accept no responsibility for lost property and reserve the right to dispose of any items found.
· Only persons authorised by Denby Retail Ltd may carry out photography, filming or other forms of recording for anything other than personal use.
· All complaints must be addressed to management on the day of your visit. In the event that management is unable to resolve the complaint at the time, complaints should be directed to Denby Retail Ltd via email to tours.reception@Denby.co.uk within 14 days of your visit. We endeavour to respond to all complaints within 28 days of receipt.
· All decisions by management and staff are final and binding.
· Denby Retail Ltd accepts no responsibility for the supervision of children. This is the sole responsibility of the accompanying responsible adult/s.
· It is solely the decision of the responsible adult to decide whether an activity is suitable for an individual child. Denby Retail Ltd accepts no responsibility for that decision.
· Please note that on occasion we may take photographs to use for marketing purposes, this will be subject to permission being granted and an image release form to be signed.
