Hand-Painted Flowers Vase Workshop 2025
Come and join us for a pottery painting masterclass with our ceramic painting expert and skilled artist, Cathie. Learn painting techniques to create a stunning hand painted Denby vase.
Design and paint your Denby vase (approx. 6.5 inches tall, 5 inches wide) using our colourful glazes. Leave it with us to fire here in our kilns, ready to collect in three weeks time. Workshops are available:
January 2025 workshops : Thursday 9th at 2pm - 4pm or Friday 17th at 2pm - 4pm
PRICE: £40.00 per person - This adult ( Over 18yrs )craft workshop is perfect for all abilities and is fully accessible to everyone.
Why not add on an Afternoon Tea for an additional £15.95 (If you have added on an Afternoon Tea, this will need to be enjoyed at 12pm for all 10am-12pm workshops and at 2pm for all 12-2pm workshops).
What to expect on the day:
Your friendly host Cathie, has a wealth of ceramic painting experience at Denby and will start with a ‘how-to’ demonstration and share lots of useful hints and tips along the way (to help you get the most out of your workshop) - you don’t need to be an expert to join us!
Then it’s over to you to hand-paint your own design onto a beautiful Denby vase.
Left with our team, your decorated vase will be fired in our kilns, ready to collect later to display in your home.
Throughout this workshop, Cathie will be on hand to offer you guidance and inspiration (should you need it).
CRAFTING TIME: Please meet at the Denby Craft Studio & Welcome Desk ready for your workshop to promptly start. This is a 2-hour workshop. Please note that all bookings need to be made up to 48 hours in advance.
WHO’S IT FOR: This adult craft workshop is perfect for all abilities and is fully accessible to everyone.
NOTES: All materials, including an apron, will be provided on the day. As you will be working with paint, we advise you to wear something that you don't mind getting messy.
A FREE hot drink is also included, which can be enjoyed on the day in Bourne’s Coffee Shop & Bistro.
Please note that on occasion, clay work may crack or break in the kiln firing process, and this is beyond our control. In the unfortunate event that this should happen we will contact you and advise of the options available.
We will contact you when your creations are ready to collect (within 2-3 weeks).

Visitor parking is available for free in our customer car park within easy reach of the Welcome Desk located inside the Denby Craft Studio.
BOOKINGS: Denby Pottery Village will make every effort to ensure that your workshop goes ahead on the confirmed date and time. However, should unforeseen conditions prevail, an alternative date or time will be offered or a full refund will be given. Unfortunately, this event is non - transferable and refunds cannot be given for cancellations. Please refer to full T&Cs here
