Crafternoon Tea 2025
Join us with friends for a relaxing Crafternoon filled with delicious cakes, sandwiches, bottomless hot drinks, and pottery painting! This session is suitable for adults only over 18 years
Start your experience with a freshly prepared Afternoon Tea at Bourne's Coffee Shop & Bistro, followed by pottery painting in the Denby Craft Studio where you will decorate an 8 inch medium Denby plate (perfect for cakes and treats) using our colourful glazes. Let your imagination flow or be inspired by our selection of stencil designs. We will also have inspirational ideas and sponges, or bring your own prepared ideas to decorate your plate.
Once finished, leave your hand-painted plate with us to kiln fire and collect it in 2-3 weeks time to use and keep forever.

- Tuna Mayonnaise
- Baked Ham & English Mustard
- Egg Mayonnaise and Cress
- Cheddar Cheese and Tomato
Homemade Seasonal scone: Freshly baked fruit scone served with butter, cream & jam
Homemade sweet treats: Choose between our homemade cakes on the day.
Served with your choice of drink: Served with bottomless tea, or filter coffee.
Veggie / vegan / gluten-free option is available. Please confirm any dietary requirements at the booking stage.
LOCATION: Denby Pottery Village, Denby, Derbyshire, DE5 8NX.
ARRIVAL: Upon arrival, please park in our free customer car park and head across the cobbled courtyard to the Welcome Desk inside the Denby Craft Studio.
ACCESSIBILITY: Please let us know in advance if any of your party members have accessibility requirements.
TIME: Various, see above detail.
To make the most of your experience, please arrive in advance of the confirmed time. You're also welcome to paint additional pieces, if time allows (costs apply).
WHO’S IT FOR: This adult craft experience is perfect for all abilities.
NOTES: All materials, including an apron, will be provided on the day. As you will be working with paint, we advise you to wear something that you don't mind getting dirty.
There's also the option to have your finished plate posted out to you for an additonal £5 per item. Please speak to a member of the team on the day to organise this for you.

However, should unforeseen conditions prevail, an alternative date or time will be offered or a full refund will be given.
