'Have a Go' Pottery Throwing - £15 February Half-Term Special 2025
This fun and creative session with one of our experience potters is perfect for budding potters who would like to 'have a go' on the Potters’ wheel and learn the basic steps of hand-throwing a pot. This booking is for ages 8 -16 yrs only.
During this 20-minute session, your child will experience what it’s like to 'have a go' at throwing, from centring the clay, opening out and pulling up the walls to make their own bowl. Take their pot away on the day to air-dry at home and paint if they wish.
Please note that their hand-thrown pot will not be kiln fired or glazed. However, our alternate Pottery Throwing Experience is recommended if you would like to make a hand-thrown pot and have it kiln fired and finished in a Denby glaze.
