February Half Term Fun Starts Here!
Looking for something to do with the kids over the holidays? Come and get hands on with our clay and pottery painting activities in the Denby Craft Studio.
Dates: Saturday 14th February to Sunday 22nd February
Session length: 50 minutes
Recommended age: 3 years and over
At the booking stage please choose one activity per child. This £2.50 entry ticket confirms your child's space in the Craft Studio and the ticket cost will be deducted from your final activity price on the day. Please ensure a space is booked for all attendees including non-participating adults.
Paint a Denby Plate. £15.95 per plate.
Hand paint or stencil a design onto a medium 9-inch Denby plate using our colourful Denby glazes. Items will be left with us to be kiln fired and collected once ready to use or gift.
OR
Play with Clay. £7 per child.
Use our local Derbyshire clay along with 3D modelling guides and crafting tools to create their own designs. Creations will air dry naturally at home over a few days and can then be painted or varnished.
OR
Paint a Mother’s Day Mug. £12 per mug (usually £13.95).
Paint a personalised Denby mug ready for Mother’s Day. Items will be kiln fired and available to collect a few weeks later. Ideal for filling with treats to complete your gift.
OR
Paint a Fun Pottery Shape. Prices from £8.50 per item.
Choose from a range of pottery shapes and paint your own design using water-based paints. Items are taken home on the same day and are not kiln fired.
ADDITIONAL TRAIL: There’s also the option to book an additional ticket for our kid’s fun trail around Denby Pottery Village. Follow the hidden pictures and answer the themed questions to collect a treat at the end. £3 per child. Trail tickets must be purchased alongside a Craft Studio activity.
Plan ahead for lunch and pre-order a Kids Meal Deal (to eat in or takeaway). Suitable for up to 10 years and includes; half a cheese or ham Sandwich, a packet of Pombears, a juice carton, apple or banana, small sweet treat. Collect from Bourne’s on the day of your visit and show your ticket to a member of the team at the till point. £5.95 per child.

Notes: All activities are self-led, but our friendly team will be on hand to offer any support. You are also welcome to paint-a-pot or enjoy another craft activity during your 50-minute experience if time allows. Additional costs apply and can be paid for on the day.
- We will be getting creative with paint, pens and clay and therefore recommend that children wear items they don't mind getting messy.
- Children must always be supervised by an adult(s) and a minimum of 1 adult per 3 children is required. Please also refrain from eating inside the Denby Craft Studio, thank you.
- Denby Pottery Painting: The following Denby glaze colours, violet and bluebell blue contain a degree of cobalt which is an allergen.
- Denby Craft Activities: some activities may include use of feathers or balloons please make us aware of any allergies before your visit.

Visitor parking is available for free in our customer car park within easy reach of the Welcome Desk located inside the Denby Craft Studio.
Upon arrival, please head to the Denby Craft Studio and show your tickets (on your mobile or print out) to a member of the team.

BOOKINGS: Denby Pottery Village will make every effort to ensure that your half-term craft session goes ahead on the confirmed date and time. However, should unforeseen conditions prevail, an alternative date or time will be offered where possible or a full refund will be given. Unfortunately, this event is non - transferable and refunds cannot be given for cancellations.
Our great selection of shops are open every day (except for Christmas Day and Easter Sunday) between 9am – 5pm (Monday – Saturday) and 10am – 4pm on Sundays for you enjoy during your visit.
There is also a choice of two eateries (Bourne's Coffee Shop & Bistro and The Farm Shop Café) serving a wide variety of homecooked dishes, breakfasts, homemade cakes, drinks and more.
