Christmas Crafternoon Tea at Denby Pottery Village

Join us for a relaxed and festive afternoon with our Christmas Crafternoon Tea, perfect to enjoy with friends, family, or even as a treat for yourself.

Your experience begins with a freshly prepared Festive Afternoon Tea in Bourne’s Coffee Shop and Bistro, complete with delicious cakes, sandwiches, and bottomless tea or coffee. It’s the perfect way to pause, unwind, and soak up the Christmas spirit.

After tea, head over to our cosy Craft Studio where you’ll decorate your own piece of Denby pottery. Choose from a reed diffuser pot (also perfect for a tapered candle!), a 10-inch plate, or platter, ideal for adding a personal touch to your home this season.

Use colourful glazes, Christmas stencils, and your own imagination to bring your creation to life. We’ll also have some inspiration on hand to help get you started.

The reed diffuser includes reeds but not oil, which can be purchased separately in our Denby Store. Pottery pieces are subject to availability on the day.

Once finished, your piece will be kiln fired and ready to collect in time to enjoy over the festive season or wrap up as a thoughtful handmade gift.

LOCATION: Denby Pottery Village – The Denby Craft Studio and downstairs at Bourne’s Coffee Shop & Bistro. Upon arrival, please head straight to the Denby Welcome Desk inside the Craft Studio and present your tickets to a member of the team (on your mobile or printout).

On arrival, please head straight to Bourne's for your 12pm Afternoon Tea and a member of the team will show you to your table. 

WHO’S IT FOR: This adult craft experience is perfect for all abilities, and you don’t need to have any previous experience to join in.Suitable for 18yrs and over.

NOTES: All materials, including an apron, will be provided on the day. As you will be working with paint, we advise you to wear something that you don't mind getting dirty.

BOOKINGS: Denby Pottery Village will make every effort to ensure that your Christmas Crafternoon goes ahead on the confirmed date and time. However, should unforeseen conditions prevail, and we need to rearrange your booking, an alternative date or time will be offered where possible or a full refund will be given. Unfortunately, this event is non-transferable and refunds cannot be given for customer cancellations.

Our great selection of shops are open every day (except for Christmas Day and Easter Sunday) between 9am – 5pm (Monday – Saturday) and 10am – 4pm on Sundays for you enjoy during your visit. The Denby Craft Studio is open daily between 10am-4pm. Except Monday in term time.

There is also a choice of two eateries (Bourne's Coffee Shop & Bistro and The Farm Shop Café) serving a wide variety of homecooked dishes, breakfasts, homemade cakes, drinks and more. Open: Monday - Saturday: 9.00am - 4.30pm & Sunday: 9.30am - 3.30pm.
