Get into the spirit of Halloween and join us upstairs at Bourne’s Coffee Shop & Bistro for a Monster-themed Afternoon Tea, including bottomless Witches' Brew for the grown-ups. 

Please note that all guests need to be able to access our upstairs event space by stairs.

Presented on our beautiful Denby ceramics and includes:

A mini cup of blood soup (tomato) and sausage or Vegan sausage roll bites 

A selection of freshly prepared sandwiches: baked ham & English mustard, egg mayo & cress, cheddar cheese & tomato, and tuna mayo

Salted crisps

Fruit scone, strawberry jam & cream

Plus, ice and decorate your own monster cake (two vanilla sponge cakes) with edible eyes, jelly laces and mini marshmallows to enjoy on the day or take home

All served with bottomless Witches' Brew (English breakfast tea or freshly filtered coffee)

A mini cup of blood soup (tomato) with a mummy hotdog sausage roll 

Fun monster ham sandwich

Mummy cheese & cucumber sandwich skewer

Cheese and pretzel witches’ broom stick with a spooky cheese straw finger and dipping sauce 

Plus, ice and decorate your own monster cakes (vanilla sponge and chocolate tray bake) with edible eyes, jelly laces and mini marshmallows to enjoy on the day or take home

All served with a carton of orange/ apple Juice, a bottle of water or a glass of milk

Why not make the most of your visit by adding a Halloween Trail to your booking?

Get the whole family together to follow the ghoulish trail. Spot the creepy creatures lurking around the village, and find their spooky number to crack the code. Complete the trail sheet and be rewarded with a tasty treat. Tickets for the Halloween Trail are £3 per child and must be purchased in conjunction with a Monster Afternoon Tea (subject to availability). Collect your clues from The Denby Craft Studio and take part in the trail before your Afternoon Tea (The Craft Studio closes at 4pm).

NOTE: A Veggie / Vegan / Gluten-Free option is available. Please specify this in the dietary requirements section at the booking stage.

BOOKINGS: Bookings require 48 hours' notice.

Denby Pottery Village will make every effort to ensure that your Monster Afternoon Tea goes ahead on the confirmed date and time. However, should any unforeseen conditions prevail, an alternative date or time will be offered, or a full refund will be given. Unfortunately, this event is non-transferable, and refunds cannot be given for cancellations.

TIME: Served at 2pm.

To make the most of your experience, please arrive in advance of the confirmed time.

ARRIVAL: Upon arrival, please head straight to Bourne’s Coffee Shop & Bistro. Check-in with the team and present your ticket (on your mobile or printout). Then, head upstairs to our exclusive decorated space to enjoy your monster afternoon tea.

LOCATION: Denby Pottery Village – Upstairs in Bourne’s Coffee Shop & Bistro.

WHO’S IT FOR: Suitable for all the family but please note that the Monster Afternoon Tea is located upstairs in Bourne’s Coffee Shop & Bistro and is only accessible by stairs. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Our great selection of shops are open every day (except for Christmas Day and Easter Sunday) between 9am-5pm (Monday-Saturday) and 10am -4pm on Sundays for you to browse during your visit. The Denby Craft Studio is open daily between 10am-4pm.

There is also a choice of two eateries (Bourne's Coffee Shop & Bistro and The Farm Shop Café) serving a wide variety of homecooked dishes, breakfasts, homemade cakes, drinks and more.
