Egg Cup Decorating Workshop for Adults
Workshops available on Wednesday 9th April at 2pm - 4pm
Come and join us for a lovely spring pottery painting workshop with our ceramic painting expert and skilled artist, Cathie.
In this hands-on session, you'll learn unique painting techniques to create a set of 2 beautiful hand-decorated egg cups using our colourful glazes - you don’t need to be an expert to join us!
Your friendly host Cathie has a wealth of ceramic painting experience at Denby and will start with a ‘how-to’ demonstration and share lots of useful hints and tips along the way (to help you get the most out of your workshop).
Then it’s over to you to hand-paint your own designs onto 2 Denby egg cups. We’ll fire them in our kilns to collect at a later date to use and keep forever.
Throughout this workshop, Cathie will be on hand to offer you guidance and inspiration (should you need it).
PRICE: £20.00 per person - This adult (over 18yr) craft workshop is perfect for all abilities and is fully accessible to everyone.
Why not add on an Afternoon Tea for an additional £15.95 to enjoy at 12 noon before your workshop at 2pm.
CRAFTING TIME: Please meet at the Denby Craft Studio & Welcome Desk ready for your workshop to promptly start. This is a 2-hour workshop. Please note that all bookings need to be made up to 48 hours in advance.
WHO’S IT FOR: This adult craft workshop is perfect for all abilities and is fully accessible to everyone.
NOTES: All materials, including an apron, will be provided on the day. As you will be working with paint, we advise you to wear something that you don't mind getting messy.
A FREE hot drink is also included, which can be enjoyed on the day in Bourne’s Coffee Shop & Bistro.
Please note that on occasion, pottery items may crack or break in the kiln firing process, and this is beyond our control. In the unfortunate event that this should happen we will contact you and advise of the options available.
We will contact you when your creations are ready to collect (within 2-3 weeks).

Visitor parking is available for free in our customer car park within easy reach of the Welcome Desk located inside the Denby Craft Studio.
BOOKINGS: Denby Pottery Village will make every effort to ensure that your workshop goes ahead on the confirmed date and time. However, should unforeseen conditions prevail, an alternative date or time will be offered or a full refund will be given.
